Yep. They went dark shortly after the Canbadian govt. ruled that Canadian
Corporations could not write off spots aired on USA radio and TV stations.

A Television border blaster was  KCND-TV  Pembina. ND  serving Winnepeg,
Manitoba.  It was the ABC outlet for Winnipeg but was licensed to Pembina. 
They had an 8 or 9 hop inter-city microwave shared with KTHI in Fargo, ND
picking up ABC off air in Minneapolis.
