That may be the case for helicopter and absent parents. I don't think
parents are fully to blame for TEACHING them what you desccribe as bad
traits however. As kids grow, they WILL and do develop their own
prejudices and opinions of others simply by their own association and
experience. Rather, too many parents DON'T teach tolerance, et al.
