[BC] Class "D" AM Towers

WOLF 1490 in Syracuse has a 125 m tower (a physical 5/8 wave) but it's
loaded with a bunch of LPTV and FM antennas, so it behaves as if it's
considerably longer.  For various reasons, this is a very good
location to cover the city and at last count, seven LPTVs, five FM
translators, and a Class A FM have co-located there.   Here's the

When I last spoke with the owner Craig Fox, he was planning to detune
the top portion with an additional skirt to make it "look" shorter.  I
haven't heard if that has worked out.
