On the topic of "digital juke boxes" (lower case intentional): when everyone gets their machines back in order and just want to have a little fun and make noise, here's a piece of free software that'll make you grin: http://dwjukebox.com/
This is software for both DOS and Windows that turns a plain ol' junk computer into a jukebox, complete with cool graphics and vinyl noise when starting up a tune. No tight segues, no automated playlists, nothing radio-related at all (although it might look cool in the lobby in a busted jukebox shell). It's just a free jukebox.
I used it to convert a 1960s AMI Continental from a gummed-up mechanical failure to a giant MP3 player. The Wow factor is off the chart: http://dwjukebox.com/forum/index.php?topic=270.0 with pic.
