I've used maybe a dozen of the M-Audio Audiophile 192 cards in various
applications without trouble.  There is a Pro Audio editing program that is
compatible.  Even have two cards in my home computer so it can connect to a
Mackie mixer.  No problems at all. (shrug)

These were all used because they support the balanced +4 level audio in/out.
In a few installations they cleared up a pesky low level hum issue.

Most were bought through eBay for around a hundred bucks each.  Guitar
Center also sells them, but for more.
