So far, we have been REAL LUCKY and dodged the storms  by sometimes only 
a few Miles. We are expecting another Storm this Evening. I have had to 
do "Broom Duty" my share of times over the years. That is where you 
Sweep the Snow off of the dish when you throw Dead Air, and / or use the 
Broom Handle to whack the Ice off of the Tower Insulators so the VSWR 
does not trip out on the Transmitter.
