We started doing "The Swap Shop" on our class A (FM) up north. We
started out hoping we could fill an hour and had to expand it to two
hours a day. 8-10 AM! Small town radio can make money and can be fun
you just have to dump the 12 in a row, 12 units an hour, and all the
other "good radio" paradigms which have been beaten in to our ratings
driven heads and return to our roots. Being a part of the community is
the fun part of our stations. It is a little easier with a small
signal, but our class C (FM) does a nice job partnering with big events
which cover a much larger geographical area. I am sure you know if
WUPS. And yes! We Deliver The Hits!! Both are available via high
bitrate streams at www.wups.com and www.ilovethetwister.com
