<Chip said> Arlington County came after Westwood One for well two decades of back taxes. This was one of the reasons they move to Silver Spring, MD. It was the Mutual Radio Networks from when they moved from basement on 16th Street in DC in the 70s. Let's just call the place well worn. <end>
Was the Arlington Westwood location you're talking about at Crystal City (Mutual days) or in the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington? D.C.'s "Z-104" sorta took over the Courthouse location until just a few years ago when they were absorbed into the WTOP facility downtown. Ed B. and company did a killer job turning the floor into a superb local station in the late 90s. And Bonneville engineers generously gave your truly lots of hours back in the early part of this decade when I was an under-employed techie.
