Georgia and South Carolina and their local governments probably match Tennessee in difficult and absurd practices and policies.  But getting into a debate over that serves no purpose.

Some of the stations in the list Kevin gave us are owned by or have been owned by Art Sutton.  I am camped out in geography that gives me a close-up view of the man's attitude toward radio and his methods of making it work.

I know it has to be difficult for you to walk away from your station for any length of time, but I can highly recommend that you consider a trip to his area.  See if you can get a few minutes of his time or one of his key people to share how they minimize the friction with local government.
