[BC] Christmas Trees, Patch panels and Blocks

I had a couple of Ward-Beck consoles at a previous job that used Christmas trees, mounted in a panel beneath the console.  Someone previous to me, instead of soldering wires to it, used 3M ST connectors to attach wires to the trees.  Didn't need an iron to make changes.
 
Now if we could still get ST connectors...I recall someone posted awhile back that if there was enough interest, there was a manufacturer willing to make a run of them.  Anything come of that?
