[BC] Valcom Whip

     I like 'em. Solid mechanically. However, there is one caveat, and that
is the bronze threaded sections that can become intermittent. The fix is to
lay copper (or better yet, silver/tin plated) braid lengthwise (against the
run of threads) on the threaded section before assembly, and coat all with
some anti-oxide compound.
