I have installed hundreds of Prodelin and Microdyne (remember them?) dishes
at radio and TV stations and for High govt officials all over the Southeast
US and Caribean and central america and found the Prodelin product to be an
excellent dish. MA/COM which owned Prodelin sold dishes to almost anyone
and most of them without mounts or hardware. I always used stainless
hardware and galvanized mounts. I saw so much junk, most of it sold for the
home market with polar mounts, not azel mounts. Prodelin didnt help their
reputation by not specifying the hardware and mounts. I recall installing a
5 meter dish in Venezuala, it was a payoff to a govt official by a US firm
for getting a lucrative contract. The dish was on the equator and pointed
straight up. That was a fun job...

I had a 2.4 Meter Prodelin model 1252. It was a POS! Had to modify the
feedhorn mount to hold skew. Bolts rusted. Panel warped. Stay away from
that 3 panel design. The ancient mesh 6' Channel Master worked better.
