Because, for every Adam Lambert 'lover' there was out there...
There was probably 2 'haters' that really didn't want to see him win.  
Including me, though I didn't vote.
I will however say his newest single is somewhat impressive, especially 
considering I had to ask, "What's Kris Allen doing?"
