Scott, there are MANY successful Small AMs that are also on the edge of
a Big or Medium sized market that are getting over-run by FMs. Look at
WNEG, WKDK, WBCU, and WNMB as examples. They are successful because they
give people a REASON to listen. They have formats you can't find on FM
and they are LIVE and LOCAL so they can Super-Serve their local
communities with information you just can't find anywhere else.

Ask yourself WHY would somebody turn off their Expensive iPod, or even
their FM radio to listen to your AM Signal. How many FMs can you hear
"Hot AC" on? WNEG is so sucessful, they are now incresing power from 500
to 5000 Watts Directional. Perhaps you could re-locate WMRO and go
directional and get some REAL Night coverage in the process? Yes, it all
costs Money, but as the old saying goes, "It Takes Money to Make Money".
