My first mission in my high school station to prove soldering and wiring
technique was to wire one of these.  I've only wired a few of them
since...THANKFULLY.

About the only thing they will not withstand is a nuclear blast and a cola
spilling on them.

I can't tell you how many thing's I've blown up as a result of shorting a
couple terminations together by accident.  ESPEDCIALLY if there was 110 on
them...which was common at the time.

Ahhh...the days of germainium transistors....
