This is an interesting turn of events. If this person wants me off
the list he simply has to filter me out, as I've done with him. As an
awesomely, fantastically important and all-knowing engineer he should
understand how to use the filter in his reader. As I've said before
several times, I always use the same email address. Any IBUZ
cheerleader, particularly anyone who makes a living installing the
system, can make me disappear with a few minutes work. Anyone annoyed
by differing opinions can do it with no physical harm to either of us.
For his own health I'd suggest he do that.
Dana quoted part of the diatribe in which he suggested legal action
be taken because I've expressed opinions contrary to his. I believe
the court would require proof of damages. I wonder how many stations
have told the company they didn't purchase the system because of
something Rich Wood said on the Internet. If I'm to believe the puff
releases, the revolution is growing by leaps and bounds and receivers
are flying off the shelves, so I clearly have absolutely no effect on
their business. Even Judge Judy will tell them about proving damages
and that expressing opinions is protected, especially when those
opinions result from extensive retail research and the purchase of
five IBUZ receivers to do it. I'm looking at it from the marketplace
perspective and by driving all over creation to determine how it's working.
In the case of stations requesting a recommendation I don't tell them
not to do it. I tell them to hold off until we know what the power
increase will do. Too many stations jumped in knowing, according to
this person, that more power was in the offing. They tell me they
installed it believing 1% was the permanent limit. Now they have to
spend more money to correct that impression and redo what they've
just done. Ultimately, they do whatever the Hell they want.
