Take note the Day Sequarra M2 has an analog response to about 2.5 KHz in
AM mono none-HD (IBOC off) Not their desire but forced on them to meet
iBuquity spec.
In this way when the receiver switches to IBOC frequency response has a
dramatic improvement. I can run an analog monitor with a 7 KHz audio
low-pass filter and IBOC on and enjoy a reasonable audio response
bandwidth. There was no need to run the AM mono response down to 3.5
KHz unless you want to make the HD switch seem dramatic. I call this the
fog of IBOC.

The Fanfare FTA-100 is as good as it gets!

The Sangean HDT-1X has HD-Radio and C-QUAM AM Stereo and sounds better
in C-QUAM mode than in HD-Radio mode.
