Armstrong, perhaps? A bit better built than the Marti composite, about  
the same price. Another possibility: try Rick Neace at RPU-STL.com, he  
might have a used Marti composite system.

My inclination would be to stick with the STL, rather than try some  
other "solution."  At least you know the path works, and, after the  
initial cost of the equipment you own the system. Unlike other systems  
using wired connections.
