[BC] AMPRO console?

Yes -- you're right.
And by the way, the RCA documentation for their version (change the paint
color and the logo)for some models was much better than was Ampro's --
The usual failure is with the solid wire at the rotary pot terminals. The
rotary pot bodies move a bit, the teensy-weensy solid (what a bad idea) wire
breaks, and the channel has problems!
Oh yes, the power supply has an overcurrent protector that'll shut down on
sudden transients when the monitor amplifier is turned up high. Annoying.
Good luck !

I'm going to pick up my monster RA 250 May 7th, and the guy I got it
from is throwing in a working AMPRO console unit for free. I have a
pic, would anyone be interested in identifying it for me as to age
and model? Its blonde wood cased, rotary pots, the model name is in
script font ( so I cant read it ) and to me looks very early 70's.
let me know if you want to play "name that console" and I'll send you
a pic of it. Thanks for those willing to play!
Tim
