When I wrote the C programs, I used the stdio.h file that comes with the C compiler, so I didn't write anything specific as in dealing with the LPT port directly.

I'll dig into this in more detail this weekend, unless there is a member here who knows for sure if printing from a DOS application running on win2k can't be done without a third party application. ( I would rather avoid third party solutions)

I got enough old 'puters around here, it might be easier to build up a DOS 6.2 machine and call it a day; that seems like the wimp way out, however.  The good 'ol days :-D
