In the interest of completeness, can you please expound upon
how you helped Deforest with his girlfriends? What were the
problems and what were your suggested solutions?
Thank you for the technical explanation. I have often believed
it made little sense to apply a negative control grid voltage to
slow down the flow of electrons on their way to the positively
charged anode, only to reaccelerate them by positively charged
screen grid, thence mitigate the damage using a suppressor grid.
More pins, more internal materials, more external components,
and for what?
