W2K used to print DOS programs but in my case will no longer after a service
pack a couple years ago. You can use printfil to emulate what you need
http://www.printfil.com for a trial version. This should allow you to
print from the DOS program

Hello:

I have some C programs that I wrote back in the DOS days that sent
information out to a DOS printer. These programs were written for DOS 6.2

Will the Windows 2000 O/S accept and carry out print commands from a DOS
program that's running in the Win2000 DOS window? All I want it to do is
print
on a locally connected printer.

I would just try it, but I don't have any Win2000 computers that are
directly connected to a printer. I don't want to waste time with this if you
folks
know if Win2000 will honor a print job from a DOS application.
