Those of us who served with the SBE over the last 25 years in one
capacity or another were familiar with Martin "Sandy"
Sandberg.  Sandy passed away shortly afternoon this
afternoon.  Funeral arrangements are pending.

If my memory serves, Martin was a SBE president at one time.  It was
before I was a member and don't remember much about him before I became
involved in SBE national. I did have a chance to be hosted at his house
one time in the early 90's for his wife's chili. It was a special day...

He now joins his pal Julius Barnathan at the ABC technical round table.
