[BC] ABC/ESPN Radio XDS

Greetings Brain Trust.

I had a network switch die yesterday morning and a few minutes ago I
started getting a "Beep" every 60 seconds or so (Maybe thirty) on the
air.  Could this be caused by the XDS not having internet connectivity?
I ordered a new switch, but most of my receivers are off the net now,
including the XDS which is on the air.  

I'm trying to avoid an unneeded trip to the office?

Could my local XDS be trying to tell me it has a red light on the front
due to no internet?

Any experiences?
