Gotta tell Barry and Kevin, good article.

Then again, that brings along a "grandpa Tom" story.

It was about 8 years ago. I'm at my desk, in the back of the
building, when the urgent page comes overhead,
"Engineering , we are off the air!"
I trot (never run, makes me sweat) to the control room.
By now, everyone is crammed into the room. I look at the remote control,
and realize we have a power failure, and there is no egen (at that time).

The announcers asks "What's up Tom?"
    I say " The transmitter"
Then my boss makes a mistake: "What's that?"

I say "it's a big silver box with dials and knobs, but its thats
not important right now!"

Took my boss three days to recover from the fact that he handed me
that line...

                ol tom
