I've got a fleet of Sine Systems remote controls that I want to start
replacing.  Between the need for more advanced autonomous operation
(directional AM monitoring, some self correction on FM's, etc.), and some
that refuse to stop false alarming, it's time for a change.

 

Inexpensive options are few.  I've got numbers for VRC-2500 systems which
fit the bill.  Unfortunately I have an uphill battle on price point and some
bad experiences with a few that are in service here.

 

I'm looking for real-world, real-honest opinions on the CircuitWerkes
Sicon-8 boxes.  It looks decent, but the lower price and small company make
me leary.
