It looks like Flash Technology is offering some pretty neat stuff. I think their light engines are made by Dialight though. On the Flash website, it shows a single layer dual strobe in place of the 3 layer one they had up there previously. It links to the 3 layer model data sheet, and manual though. I have read the manual on them, and for AM, I don't think there'd seem to be much of a problem installing the white only system. The Dual system, with the L-810's, may be a little more involved though. The monitoring/control board for the L-810's is in the "Controller", and would require an additional AC circuit across the base insulator, along with power to the LED drivers of the beacon in the "Power Converter". It would make sense to be able to mount the Controller on the ground side, then couple one AC line to the Power Converter on the tower, which would contain the drivers for the LED, and the L-810's monitoring/control board. Status of the drivers, and ob light board could fed across the base with fiber, or something to the control box.
