[BC] Graveyard shifts for young DJs a thing of radio's past

At one time, I thought about leaving the broadcast industry for the telephone industry. I thought (at the time) that everyone would still want/need a telephone. That industry is in about as bad a shape as the broadcast industry.

Not that I don't believe it could recover and become bigger and better than ever, but no one has a vision any more about anything except making billions of dollars while raping the public. I have a vision, but no means to implement it.

If I was younger, I'd consider getting into the nuclear power industry. It appears that that industry is about to make a resurgence. At least I hope so--not for my sake, but for the countrys'.

A lot of so-called "Green" industries are taking off. It's a chance to make your fame and fortune if you can make a breakthrough in some new energy field. Cold fusion still awaits, for instance. There's still a need for better batteries and fuel cells.

What this country needs besides a good 5 cent cigar are talented leadership people who are willing to put their own personal gain behind them and do something that will benefit their fellow Americans and their country. Something besides ship our jobs and our knowledge overseas. Something that will put AMERICANS back to work, and raise our standard of living to what it used to be.
