I needed two microfilters in series to get the DSL hash out of my phones. This
unit makes the line completely silent.

Verizon to do a thorough check of my line down to the NID 
on Monday.

Another factor that enters into this problem is that about 
two weeks after my problems began, I was having trouble 
with my phone line and Verizon claimed that water got into 
the line but it all had been corrected.  Kind of makes me 
wonder about that too.

Anyway, after Verizon comes on Monday I'm going to install 
one of those filters right at the NID to separate the data 
line from the phone line and see how it goes.
