Yahbut... The only way to get rid of the "expired" message is to get rid of the radio or pay the extortion --err fee. Usually, they steal these "hidden" fees from users' credit-card accounts so they are seldom noticed. Since I didn't let them retain the number of a non-canceled credit card, I caught the theft. If you have XM, check what they do to your credit card.
