Get one of these DSL filters. Unlike Microfilters, which pass the raw line to
the DSL modem and (only) low pass filter the phone connection, this has a high
pass filter in series with the DSL modem, which filters out the ring and talk
from it.

I use one and it increased my speeds by about 7%.

Just a couple weeks ago I started having a problem where
when the phone rings it disconnects my DSL
syncronzation. Sure is annoying when downloading a large
audio file.

Anyone have ideas what might be happening? My ISP is no
help.

Thanks,

Tom
