    I once did work at a station in south Georgia that had
four Ampex 601's mounted in cockpit-overhead-angled-down from
the ceiling fashion, running 2 1/4" (I think) nylon reels.

    Every show element had leader tape, and cueing was visual.

    Hadda have fast fingers to work there. . .
