It sounds innocuous enough, and my little Motorola phone does have FM radio in it, but it only works when a headset is plugged in and the appropriate button is pressed. I don't see how that would benefit most of the people most of the time.

Wouldn't be that much of a chore to program most phones to automatically go to speaker when an emergency fm msg was broadcast.
At least that's as it appears to me. Thinking about you all in Vegas...maybe next year (sigh)
