But the WLW transmitter is not "manned" ... the original question
appeared to talk about engineers who lived on site to control/maintain
the transmitter, rather than merely living on site as a perk
Locally, there were a couple of guys on the mountain, doing
two or three day shifts. But that was mostly TV and ended
about four years ago.
