Judging by your verbiage, I'm not completely sure that you and Chuck have 
understood what I meant by "unattended operation":
A Sine or Burk or whatever programmed to do all switching automatically with 
no human present, performing frequent technical monitoring, or necessarily 
paying any attention at all........
