and the problem is??  (yes, I do understand what this could do to the
multi-multi chains and the impact on the small market mom and pops) I've
worked mostly for the mom and pop operations, the overnite guy at an
automated or non locally programmed station can do production, cleaning,
lite maintenance, making the cop shop calls, make coffee for the morning
shift...calling the morning shift to wake 'em up again <g>... I've done it
and IMNSHO I did my best to make the wee hour shift worthwhile (think, money
not wasted). Think of this, the weather is getting weird out there, a
worried listener calls and (horrors) SOMEONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!! And,
thankfully, there are niteowls in the business that like that shift.
