HA HA HA!  You just named yourself in this thread to a "T" Rich!  And 
twit is not the word I would use, however 2 letters in twit are just 
about correct. You have alienated quite a few engineers on the list.  I 
don't have a twit filter. I don't need one. You have made yourself look 
smaller than a grain of sand in this thread.

There may be a few brain dead engineers, but most of them eliminated 
themselves from the gene pool or are relegated to serving radio 
stations with the poor paying brain dead station owners in the 
hinterlands.  That's not so for DJ's (if there are any left) and to 
some extent PD's, sales staff and and some OM's and GM's that haven't a 
clue what the engineer does, nor what the transmitter does. "We can 
save money if we eliminate the transmitter!" comment is something 
likely to have been said.  And some of the engineers you ran down have 
done and still do programming and even running boards.... better than 
some DJ's I know of.

And kudo's to Barry for refuting your nonsense in this thread !!
