Dipped mica 1000pF capacitors are NORMALLY 5%. The capacitor doesn't need to be a high-current transmitting capacitor. You are not going to get better that +- 1/2 uH anyway because of the leads connecting to the end of the large coils.

Use several caps and average the readings?
