Don't count this out. I have the L/C Meter IIA
and it favorably compares against various
inductance ATU coils measured with an OIB-3,
and a HP 4815 Vector Impedance Meter.

Mutual inductance plays an important part
in a coil. If you don't believe that, ask anyone 
who had to tune a single coil Gates ATU!

This small device has come in very handy when
presetting ATU and phasor networks. Remember,
inductance is not proportional to turns. A 10
turn 10 uH coil is NOT 1 uH per turn.
