Before the windows, it was not uncommon for the god squadders to file hundreds
of applications at a time. It got so bad thatt thhe FCC put limits on how many
appliications you can file in the last non com window-so they had affiliated
churches file for them. Is it legal? Probably. Is it ethical? NO WAY!
I find it amusing that ethics flys out the way with these hypocrites-they
expect the rest of us to abide from a different set of ethics then they
apparently do!
When I was in upstate New York a couple years ago K-Love came up over a dozen
times on a band scan in my car-the same program. Why do they need so many
frequencies in one market? Frankly, I'd MUCH rather see daytime znd other AMs
getting some of those frequencies.

Was there a secret application window that only religious broadcasters knew
about? It would, indeed, be unfair to other educational broadcasters if
they were excluded from any filing windows.
