No, it really doesn't Dave. She was publically coerced into drinking the
water, both by the promise of a reward and the 'save face' aspect of
competition. The radio station staff supplied the coercion-and should pay the
price. If you and I make a bet, it's just that-a dare between two people. It's
a bit different when said 'bet' is being broadcast live on the radio-and with
the staff and listeners/callers of the radio station egging you on. I'm sure
it's easy to get caught up in the moment-and I believe that's what
unfortunately happened here.
The radio station is and should be liable. Period.

Oh, but it CERTAINLY does! Absolutely it does. It ALWAYS applies, to
each and EVERY situation you ever find yourself in. And this is becoming a
BIG problem with this country, more and more people are wanting to assign
responsibility for all aspects of their lives over to someone else, and for
what reason? To I suspect that they imagine that it will make their life
easier, with no realization of the loss of personal freedom they're handing
over..
