In my capacity as a throwback to a simpler time, permit me a question.
Can you (or any of you still reading the thread) think of a situation
involving a radio station contest where a contestant accidentally dies
after having signed a waiver holding the radio station harmless, and
personal responsibility *does* apply?
I'm specifically looking for a place where you'd hold a contestant to
his/her word and the letter and spirit of a liability waiver. The
consensus seems to be that a waiver is not worth the paper it is
written upon.
