No. The filthy power lines would cause a ripple effect at the motor 
and through the coupling and cause the line frequency to waver by no 
less than .0000000000005984 Hz. That frequency is critical for audio 
above 40KHz. "You don't hear it, you feel it." It has a similar 
effect in the 2 Hz range. Do it the right way and make sure 
everything is pure right from the source.
