I believe what that link is referring to is the 1990s version of a hopsital grade outlet that included noise filtering and surge protection and was usually gray with a green dot to indicate the iso-ground condition as well.  Those were @ $24/ea in some sources then but appear to be >$100/ea now.  In any case, they have no effect on audio, but good wiring practices do affect audio.  I wonder NEMA and NEC have to say about those items.
