During the last winter, ice on Mt. Potosi outside of Las Vegas, falling from a 200 foot tower hit the closely space railroad track ice protectors, broke up and still had enough force to go through the roof. When it melted right over my Z20 transmitter it did all sorts of damage. While work was going on, standing back almost 100 feet from the tower a piece came down, hit another engineer in the chest hard enough to knock him off his feet and dented the roof of my expedition. We may have 115 degree summers, but our winters get interesting also.
