I remember rushing home from school at lunchtime in Detroit and watching 
Lunch with Soupy.  He was great!  They seem to have forgotten he had a night 
time show after the news for the adults which was great too where he and the 
band did skits and he delivered great short one liners like "Did you hear 
the one about the lady who went to a costume party nude and her varicose 
veins were so bad that she won first place as a roadmap?"  RIP Soupy!
