WTHI-TV, an old Dumont affiliate, is out in the hinterlands (39° 14′ 36″ N, 87° 23′ 7″ W). Check with them. You no doubt recognize that in that area any height is man-made. The ground elevation is around 500 ft msl and the highest terrain are some bluffs along the river, only a few hundred feet higher at the most. When the word "flatlands" was invented, it was Terre Haute they had in mind.
