[BC] UDP is NOT broadcast.

UDP has nothing inherently broadcast. There are no broadcast protocols in the IP world. Broadcast means one source to many destinations. Multicast is the closest to broadcast, but it still is restricted to an address range. A true 'broadcast' protocol would exist independent of network addressing. It would have an inherent ability to traverse firewalls, routers etc. There are no real "broacast" protocols because even connectionless protocols such as UDP still have a control somewhere, just not as a handshake between source and destination. RTP helps a 'cast' meet real time necessity. RTSP allows a 'cast' to be controlled by the end user. Ironically, real-time AV including broadcast has caused a realization that there are no such protocols but rather has given resources to the development a specific broadcast QoS architecture.
