[BC] FCC Public Notice - 10/13/09 - No Need To Protect Vacant Ch 6 After 10/27/09

The FCC DOES IT AGAIN!!

What they SHOULD have done is open a filing window on Oct 27th! That way many
of the applications that were DISMISSED  in the last window could re-file-and
we'd have a chance in some areas to get noncoms that actually COVER SOME AREA!
 By doing this CRAP, many potential good allotments will be filled up by
'junk' stations.

Hey FCC! I'm going to have a wet dream tonight. Want to screw it up for me?

Laura will probably chime in on this as well, but as we understand it 
(as long as its a minor change) after October 27 any NCE station can 
apply for a construction permit to change facilities ignoring any 
previous analog channel 6 facilities that now have non channel 6 DTV 
channel assignments.  Major changes and new applications, of course, 
will require a filing window.
