WHK was also in transition-- by late 73/early 74, it had switched 
over to country music.  Dave Donahue was the PD.  CKLW was a major 
player in top 40 and treated like an American station.  I was friends 
with their music director, Rosalie Trombley in the late 60s.  Back 
then, the only jobs in top-40 for women were as music directors, so 
we all sort of knew each other.
